Resource Teachers of Learning/ Behaviour

Wellsford is the host school for two Experienced Specialist teachers who work as RTLB’s within the Twin Coast RTLB Cluster hosted by Red Beach School.  RTLB provide itinerant specialist support to Schools to assist teachers to improve the educational outcomes for Year 0-10 students with moderate learning or behaviour difficulties.

Sometimes children place extra challenges on teachers because their learning or behaviour requires specialist support.  Referrals to RTLB are made by schools through a referral process when RTLB intervention or support is required.  The RTLB works closely with the school, families and other agencies to help implement systems and practises that will benefit these children.

The Resource Teachers of Learning and Behaviour (RTLB) work closely with parents, teachers and schools to create a supportive environment that assists children to respond more effectively in their learning environment.
